5 High Meadow is among the most sophisticated, and well-built homes on the Tiburon Peninsula. Elegant, subtle, timeless, and aesthetically beautiful; this private, gated, panoramic view estate home is built on an incredible 367,646 square foot parcel (appx. 8.44 acres), which parcel opens onto even more public open space. If privacy, serenity, views, light, and a communion with nature, are high on your wish list, then please introduce them to this spectacular home. The 15 room estate home has most everything that today’s most discerning luxury home buyers might want, including an enormous panoramic view master suite with attached nursery (now housing a Peloton exercise bike, overlooking the bay), and an additional four bedrooms and two bathrooms (or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a panoramic view office, which is how the home is currently set up), and laundry room on the top floor; stunning living room, dining room, study, enormous chef’s kitchen with walk-in pantry, breakfast area, family room, guest suite (or spectacular au pair’s quarters, for a live-in), mudroom, and a large three car side-by-side garage, with loads of extra storage and work area, all on the home’s main / entry level; and finally, a third level which consists of a large media room with all the bells and whistles, and an adjoining study / play area. Though completed more than 12 years ago, the home has been lovingly maintained and improved, and shows beautifully; with subtle yet rich traditional architectural details such as slate roof, copper gutters and flashing, crown and base moldings, hardwood and stone floors, top-of-the-line appliances, timeless cabinet design and construction, three fireplaces, and exquisite attention to detail in virtually every aspect of the home and surrounding gardens. Though undeniably traditional in its design, the home has countless modern twists, which make it feel fresh and fun. The unobstructed panoramic views from virtually every room, the light, privacy, flow, quality construction, verandas, and access to vast, usable garden / yard areas, make this Tiburon estate equally well suited to elaborate entertaining, or quiet times with family and close friends.

Neighborhood

Tiburon

“Tiburon’s waterfront location makes it a prime destination for Marin County homebuyers.  For a town of less than 10,000 residents, Tiburon offers a variety of activities that belies its small size. The annual Tiburon International Film Festival brings films from around the world. Residents enjoy shopping in the elegant boutiques along Ark Row, a leafy, block-long enclave of tiny shops that were once floating arks, and dining at the excellent restaurants along Main Street. For the nautically inclined, Tiburon’s Corinthian Yacht Club hosts races on the bay. Ferries to San Francisco and Angel Island State Park leave from the dock at Tiburon.

Tiburon’s parks are strung out like pearls on a necklace along the water’s edge. Blackie’s Pasture, named after an old swaybacked horse that once lived here, is a popular spot for hikers, joggers, bikers, moms with strollers, and dog walkers. On weekends, the parks fill up with soccer players of all ages.”
